PBS Insights Program on Ala Moana Regional Park Master Plan

There will be a PBS Insights Program on Thursday, June 20th from 8-9 PM on the Ala Moana Regional Park Master Plan. Four speakers will represent various and opposing perspectives on the Plan's proposals, such as the widening of the makai sidewalk, the mauka perpendicular parking, the dog park, the playground, and sand replenishment taken from outside the surf breaks. The format for this program is an informal discussion led by moderator Lara Yamada.

The main part of the program is for viewers to call in their questions to the speakers. The number to call will be given on the program and we are asking the community to call in their concerns and questions. If people could please direct their questions and concerns to the issues, not the speakers themselves, it would be very helpful to support those concerns. We really appreciate any and all support you can give that will help Ala Moana be improved as the People's Park.

Please share the word! Mahalo for all your support.
