Our Mission
Mālama Moana is a group of concerned residents and park users who want to protect and preserve the local character and traditions of Ala Moana Beach Park — “The People’s Park” — for future generations.
Our mission is to protect and preserve Ala Moana Beach Park for the people of Hawaii: By keeping and preserving open green spaces, By requiring public input/participation for changes in the park, and By maintaining the current configuration of mauka and makai parking along Ala Moana Park Drive for the safety and well-being of park users.
